This is a wonderful carving of two whales swimming. it is made by Inuit artist Kevin Pillakapsi from Iqaluit, Nunavut. What attracted me to this piece was the subject. I like whale carvings because it strongly depicts Inuit life and culture as it is an animal the people greatly depend on for survival.

These two whales have beautiful movement and texture and are exquisitely carved as their proportions are executed perfectly. This gorgeous composition of whales measures 6.5" wide, 3"deep, 3" high

This stunning carving comes with an Igloo Tag (Certified of Authenticity) and it is signed on the bottom by the artist. It is a wonderful composition and is what attracted to me immediately.
