This is a high-quality museum/auction type piece by one of the best Inuit artists ever to live - Tommy Takpanie Sr. (1936 - 2013)

It is a Museum caliber piece that is very hard to find for anyone's Inuit art collection.

What really captivates me regarding this piece is the precise detail Tommy Sr. was able to put into this bear. You even see the subtle details of the bear's bone structure, muscle tone on its back, and its realistic movement.

Moreover, the reflective deep Golden stone really makes this piece illuminate its surroundings.
