Many collectors of Inuit Dancing bears come to the table with very specific expectations about what constitutes a the ideal bear.

For some, the bear must be realistic.  For others , they love the cuddly Teddy bear style.

But, sometimes, it's all about the colour of the stone.

Brody's stone is one of my favourites.

Deep apple green, with flecks of black and white.

This colour immediately wakes you up.

You feel alive and ready to go.

Sometimes the colour of the sculpture is the main event.

I know I can depend on Abe Simeonie to carve a magical Dancing bear.
