First!  The pastel torquoise blue colour of this piece, truly stops you in your tracks.

Second! Kuptana has used a style that can only be called Teddy Bear Realism!

If you didn't know Eye Candy was carved in stone, you would think this was a stuffed Toy bear.

Third!  The bear cubs are so firmly attached to their mother's back, that they appear to be physically a part of her.

One expects to see one or two distinct cute cubs.

Instead, Kuptana approaches the cubs using an abstract style.

Pure genius.

Fourth!  The big black nose and the bears' black eyes make the pastel colour pop while also allowing us to sort out some of the complicated angles of this stunning carving!
