**Joanasie Manning SIGNATURE Owl carving

Masterpiece Carving! Museum quality Sculpture!

Joanasie is internationally recognized for his signature Canadian Snowy Owls.

The Owls are easily recognizable for their somewhat square proportions, large inlaid eyes with big black pupils and white sclera, triangular nose and chunky feet.

Often Joanasie arranges his owls in family groups.

This particular charmer has an adult bird directly behind a small owlet.

The baby is looking directly ahead but the adult seems to be looking at the sky, almost as if it is rolling its eyes with a bit of frustration.

Usually Manning's birds are a jet black colour but here he has used a beautiful mottled green colour which resembles moss.

This is an exquisite rendition of the famous Canadian Snowy Owl. It is a stunning masterpiece.

The inlaid eyes are Manning's raison d'etre and contribution to the Inuit art world.

There is no artist that has mastered this grueling technique quite like Manning.

Fitting them into the stone takes experience and skill.

It is the eye-catching colors of the eyes that bring his pieces to life.
