MOSS is a charming Palaya Dancing Owl.

Palaya's Owls have large round inlaid eyes, big flat feet and a beak that runs from forehead to chin.

Oh yes.

All of Palaya's Owls have an innocent spirit.

Like Teddy Bears, these Owls are so endearing you'd like to pick them up and give them a reassuring hug.

Moss is balancing on one large foot.

The other foot he holds up like a puppy playing "Shake a Paw".

Usually, the feet of an Owl are dangerous weapons.

The talons are razor sharp.

Qiatsuq is at the top of the list of Inuit Owl carvers.

Each sculpture is lovingly and meticulously detailed.

The inlaid eyes are fashioned from caribou antler.

They contrast so beautifully against the stone, immediately directing the viewer to the Owl's face.

Moss is ready for permanent home.
