The wolf is not just a fierce hunter and dangerous foe.
The wolf can be playful and compromising especially when it is looking after its pups.
Look at Tyson's face.
It is calm and intelligent, not surly or snarling.
I believe that Kelly has concentrated on the canine aspect of the wolf. After all, our domestic dogs are relatives of the wild wolf.
Tyson's colour is a sparkling, gleaming deep green with subtle veins of white.
Wolves are an uncommon subject for many Inuit carvers.
The Inuit carvers' interpretation of the Arctic wolf is fascinating in its variations.
