The focused concentration of Poised' face and the abundant "fur" detail of his parka are two of the many reasons I fell for this Dale Ford masterpiece.

God IS in the details.

Take a close look at our Hunter's hands.

The mittens are thick and warm. 

Ford has taken significant time to etch the mitts in a pattern that simulates fur.

Then he has added cuffs.

Finally, he knows the hunter must be able to hold his rope in his hands, so the proportions of the mitts had to be perfect.

And they are!

The colour and finish of the stone is stunning.

The harpoon is exquisite in its realism.
