Markoosie Papigatok's Dancing Bears are adored for their playfulness and their athletic prowess.

Some of his bears seem to be practising martial arts.

This bear is carved with a stone that is forest green with swirls of warm yellow that bathe the bear's head and his right side.

Sundance appears to be in the "spotlight" as the sun beams down on this amazing bear.

I can't recall seeing this pattern of colour in a bear in all my years as a curator.

This fellow is so plump and huggable.

His arms extend forward with his front paws loosely flexed at the wrist.

This is my favourite paw position amongst Dancing bears. It makes the bear look like it is far away in a state of complete bliss.

Papigatok is one of my favourite artists. He carves the most charming and delightful bears. I know that he will never let my clients down.

His bears sell like hotcakes.
