The vast surface area of the large carvings gives us the opportunity to survey and inspect the sculptures every curve, every angle, and especially the integrity of the stone.
The finish of the stone is the final touch for a carving.
On a large piece, the finish must be perfectly sanded with no fine scratches or pits.
The sheen must be spectacular.
