This is an outstanding completely original walrus with tucks by world famous Inuit artist Jimmy Iqaluq from Sanikiluaq. It is a museum quality piece, will worth three/ four times the price when jimmy stops carving. This beautiful carving measures 8.5 inches long by 3.25 inches high, 2.25 inches wide. It's big!
To give a brief overview of this sculpture is like trying to describe why a beautiful woman is so beautiful. The picture speaks for itself. What I can say is this carving is from Jimmy Iqaluq. He is among the 5 elite Inuit artists in Canada and has exhibitions that have toured all over the world. His pieces are valued very highly.
