Masterpiece Sculpture! Museum quality Carving!
PERRY has all the intriguing features of a Gjoa Haven sculpture.
The stubby teeth, the large inlaid slightly asymmetric eyes, the asymmetric face.
Did you notice that ASYMMETRY is the most common feature the Gjoa Haven style.
AND the stubby teeth.
Judas Ullulaq was one of the most famous Inuit artists.
Even now, his work is sought after.
I can't recall seeing a whalebone carving like Perry by Judas.
This sculpture is an incredible find!
