This is a beautifully proportioned, black Loon with white etching marks made from Sanikiluaq, NU. It is made by Inuit artist, Charlie Cookie. What I like about this piece are the smooth and round proportions. The head of this Loon is done so well as it is perfectly rounded and smooth. Overall, the proportions are perfect. It is very harmonious to its surroundings. I get a positive feeling when I look at this loon. This is why it would make an excellent gift.
