This is a superb and striking white dancing polar bear by master Inuit carver Johnny Manning from Cape Dorset.
This perfectly proportioned bear measures 10 inches tall, 7" wide, 6" deep. It's HUGE! Very heavy!
It is made out of shiny white marble. Encased in this exquisite piece are glittering speckles of quartz that make it really catch the eye.
What I also like about this gorgeous bear is that it is substantial in size, and also balances extremely well. Johnny Manning has an amazing eye for lines, curvatures and proportions, continuously pushing the envelope for perfection. This stunning bear is no different as every attribute about it is perfect, which makes it a true gallery / exhibition piece.
