Community: Cape Dorset, NU
Stone: Serpentine

This is a gorgeous transformation dancing goose by master Inuit carver Pudlalik Shaa from Cape Dorset. This dancing goose measures 7" wide, 5.75" tall. It is made out of serpentine.

Pudlalik Shaa makes beautiful masterpiece birds. His dancing gooses are his signature theme. The proportions to his pieces are always perfect and well balanced. What I especially admire about his pieces are his curvatures and colors. The heads of his birds are very beautiful.

What I like in particular about this transformation is all the detailed elements and imagery that makes its composition. You have a beautiful goose on one end. A walrus on another and a bear opposite. The detail in each of the figures are exquisite. I also Love the warmth and serendipity this carving has due to the choice of color. A warm and radiant brown texture really sets the tone and mood.

The carving is completely perfect! We buy directly from the artist and can offer you better deals.
