Allan Sheutiapik's animated scenes of the bear grabbing the fish portray the rugged realities of mammal habitat of the Canadian Arctic.

This is a gorgeous carving depicting a bear in its natural habitat. This bear is gracefully carved in the actions of catching a salmon fish. This is a very rare find and Sheutiapik is the only artist who carves this subject as it is hard to carve both a bear and fish together.

I am really attracted to the pale green stone that this bear is made of. It is very illuminating and warm to the eye. It is beautiful, interesting, and depicts scenes from wild life beautifully.

The size of this carving is large and would make a perfect centrepiece for your collection.
