MUSEUM QUALITY PIECE!
This is a brilliantly shined and beautifully detailed walrus by world famous Jimmy Iqlauq. It encompasses all the features that make a carving one of the greats. It is nothing short of another masterpiece from world famous Jimmy Iqaluq!

What captured my attention with this piece, were the ripples in the skin. The white claws and inlayed eyes that contrast remarkably well with the intense mirror like dark stone.
The flow and movement of this piece make it a one of a kind Jimmy Iqaluq sculpture.
Jimmy likes to experiment and carve different subjects, this time he created a fantastic walrus. As always with Jimmy's sculptures every detail is a masterpiece. This walrus has claws carved out of caribou antlers, whiskers (made out of fishing line) and tusks (caribou antler).
