Provenance:  October 2019
Manasie will be opening our new brick and mortar Gallery this Saturday, October 12, 2019. This is an Exhibition piece carved specifically for the Gallery Exhibition.

Manasie’s raison d’etre and claim to fame are his exquisite bone sculptures and his white owls.

This Sedna and Walrus bone piece is captivating.

Sedna, who is the goddess of the sea and rules with the sea creatures, has procured a Walrus who is transporting her with lightening speed to her destination.

The Walrus has orange eyes which are lighting the way in the dark depths of the Arctic Ocean.

I love how both the Walrus and Sedna are long, lean and linear and are intimately intertwined. Their physical intimacy suggests that they are of one mind as well.

Manasie is one of the most internationally recognized Inuit carvers.

His star burns brightly in the art world.

He is one of a very few Premier Inuit Master carvers.  He shares this honour with artists like Abraham Ruben

Serious Inuit art collectors dream of the day that they acquire one of Manasie's bone pieces for their collection.

Don’t pass up this rare opportunity to cherish and possess this Manasie Masterpiece.

I am so honoured to have Manasie carve this piece exclusively for my clients and my new Gallery. Take a look at the interior of our new Gallery  Our new Brick and Mortar Studio.
