This is a remarkable spirit transformation by world renown Uriash Puqiqnaki. What really inspires me about this piece are the various elements of stone, fur, leather and caribou antler used. The coloration of stones and the etched in surfaces create a brilliant contrast with one another.

The eyes and hair really make this piece come alive. I rarely get to see pieces like this made. Gjoa Haven is one of the smaller communities that make Inuit art.

When put under a light, this piece is very striking and your audience will immediately take notice.
