Masterpiece Carving! Museum quality Sculpture!

Some of the greatest works of Inuit sculpture defy analysis.

One look at this beauty and you just know............

This is an extraordinary art piece.

The engineering feat of balancing a piece of stone on one of three different paws is almost incomprehensible.

The colour of the stone is rich and magnetic.

Please.  Take a moment to really look at all the angles of Isaaci's bear.

Astounding!!!

What I love about this bear is that he is big and nicely formed.  He is strong and muscular but still has a bit of a teddy bear rump.

He is perfectly balanced in both positions (diving and dancing).

His form in each of his poses is impressive and his proportions are perfect.

Isaaci Petaulassie is world famous for his incredible dancing and diving bears.  He is one of my favourite bear artists.

I can count on his constant quest to represent the spirit of the bear in his carving.
