Bears are efficient travelers.
They can walk up to 30 miles per day over tundra and ice.
While they walk, they are searching for food.
Their ability to smell is incredible.
A polar bear can pick up a scent 30 miles away.
UNDER YOUR NOSE has her nose down directly sniffing the snow and ice.
She may be able to pick up a hidden seal breathing hole.
Bears will typically raise their noses high into the air or even stand on their hind legs or wag their heads from side to side to catch faint scents.
Scent is also used as a guide to find family members and detect danger.
Noah's bears are graceful and serene.
Under's posture is unique.
The angle of her legs suggest that she is preparing to sit or possibly give herself a long stretch!
Her stone is a soft grey black peppered with small burst of white colour.
We believe that Noah is one of the best carvers of medium to large Walking bears.
