Magnificent Carving! Fantastic Movement!

This stunning carving is a small miracle.

*Toehold* can both dive and dance.

Esau Kripanik also has some magic up his sleeve.

He has the talent, the skill and the fortitude to engineer a sculpture which can be placed on any of its four paws and remain balanced.

When you explore the gallery, you do not find many 4 way dancing bears. Most are 2 way bears.

This is because it is extremely difficult to create a 4 way dancing bear.

Esau is one of my favourite artists.

His pieces are so unique.

l love the matte finish of the white stone.  It has the allure of velvet.

But the finishing touch are the motifs of Arctic animals he carves into his pieces.

This is his signature.  The etchings are lovingly detailed and caress the carvings.  A bit like dramatic tattoos.

Toehold has a magnificent walrus on his left side and playful seals on his right.

Stunning.

This beauty will shine in your collection.

You will find yourself going back to it time and again just to pick it up and admire its beauty.
