**Killiktee Killiktee SIGNATURE Hawk carving

Masterpiece Sculpture!  Museum-quality Carving!

Raptor is our favorite Killiktee hawk.

This Killiktee sculpture is a  black hawk who has successfully landed his fish dinner (any chips)?

Raptor is a Masterpiece carving with Museum quality.

This is an unrivalled depiction of a magnificent hawk who has proudly pinned his dinner to the ground and is ready to feed his large appetite.

And this isn't just a gorgeous Hawk.

This is a DANCING HAWK!

Killiktee is internationally renowned for his Dancing Hawks. I was so fortunate to find this gem.

This Hawk is perfect.ly carved from the most gorgeous dark tones of serpentine stone.  The wings are vertical and proud.  Killiktee has emphasized the feathers along the edges of the wings creating depth and meticulous attention to detail.

I particularly admire how Killiktee has extended the right foot and leg.  This directs the viewer to focus on the great talons which are holding the fish in a death grip.

But for me, I think the side view of the extended neck and head is the most dramatic and fascinating feature of this sculpture.

Raptor would be a masterwork in any environment, from a lakeside home to a business conference room.
