CURATOR'S CHOICE
First generation Inuit artists are an important part of Inuit history.
These people are usually the last of the Inuit who lived a traditional life style ie. living in igloos in winter and skin tents in summer. They lived off the land, hunting and fishing to provide food and make clothing. Jimmy Iqaluq is one of our senior Master Carvers. He told me he lived in an igloo until he was 14.

Because of the rarity of these first generation pieces and because their carvers were true pioneers in the world of Inuit art, I have made Days Gone By, a CURATOR'S CHOICE.

Masterpiece Carving! Museum quality Sculpture!
