Masterpiece Carving! Museum quality Sculpture!
Lazarus is the brother of Paul Malliki.
Artistic talent abounds within the Malliki family.
How do we begin to comprehend the care, the meticulous love and the TALENT Lazarus Malliki possesses in order to create NEXT GENERATION.
This sculpture is "Next Level"!!!!!
Instead of a smooth finish on the clothing, Lazarus has added texture to the leather, what appears to be material fringe on the Father's coat, and decoration to the sleeves, back of the coat and the legs of the outerwear!
The faces of the two Inuks are exquisitely carved.
Happiness surrounds this Dad and his son!
Is Dad holding a next generation Drum Dancer?
You may be witnessing this little child's first lesson in cherishing and preserving the heritage of his culture.
Lazarus and Paul are committed to a level of "realism" in their carvings that is rare.
Their pieces would take much more time and talent to carve.
Let me assure you, you are looking at the work of a genius . . . Lazarus Malliki.
