Masterpiece Carving! Museum quality Sculpture!

Kelly Qimirpik (1948-2017) was one of Canada's top Inuit Master Carvers.

It has been over six years since Kelly passed which means that his carvings are extremely difficult to find in galleries.

At best, you would have to search the Auction houses for his pieces.

BUT, I recently had the good fortune to locate this magnificent Drum Dancer piece.

Don't you love the intense look of joy on Kallik's face?

And the way that Kelly has carved Kallik in a dynamic pose of beating arms and jumping feet makes the Inuk appear to be in perpetual motion!

Kelly's modern sculpture has been carved in a style that gives a nod to the past.

It has the feel of a Vintage carving.

You can appreciate why Kelly was regarded with high esteem as a Master Carver.

Imagine this delightful "heritage" piece in your collection.
