What I find incredible, is that the whale bone has the appearance of stone in the face, but the hood of the parka is porous and textured like bone.
The face keeps drawing you inward, as if it wants you to come closer so it might whisper a secret to you.
This is a vertebrae of a whale.
The posterior view reveals all the minute crevasses and pores of the magnificent bone.
