Masterpiece Carving! Earthshattering Colour!
There are carvings' whose colour is so earthshattering, that the actual sculpture is almost secondary!!!
For me, LAVA is that carving.
The melting of the mellow gold into the soothing greens is simply STUNNING!!!
I have seen a lot of stone colours in the last 18 years.
Lava's stone is at the top of the heap.
And then . . .
This Dancing bear is standing tall with his head flexed backward adoring the Heavens.
Kakee has used a subtle Abstract carving style which means some of Lava's details such as his feet and paws are more suggested and less detailed.
His arms are longer than in reality.
But this abstraction allows Kakee to be more "artistic"? Like "poetic licence".
Lava is a INCREDIBLE find.
