I believe the colourway of vertical strips of medium green interspersed with vanilla, is one of the most spectacular in our Gallery.

The pattern mimics the Muskoxen's  warm coat which is made up of innumerable tendrils of thick soft hair.

Sometimes, the carving's stone is the main event.

But a Mathew Tikivik Muskox has its own personality.

The horns of the headpiece are angled with the points forward.

An enemy could be easily impaled on these deadly “spears”.

Tundra King's eyes are small but wise.

I am drawn to his large smiling cowlike mouth.

This is a piece that captivates the viewer. It has personality and yet it remains humble and gentle.

This sculpture is the perfect carving for an avid collector looking to expand their muskoxen pieces.

It is also perfect for a first time collector or a gift for any animal lover.
