This historically important piece was made by pioneering carver Davidialuk Alasua Amittu of Povunituq, QC. One of his pieces was preserved in the Museum of Civilization in Ottawa.

Over the years, this sculpture became blemished with cracks, chips, and a matte finish.

Jean, our restorer, put it back together and made it look like new.
