MASTERPIECE CARVING - SHARE IN THE LEGEND
Provenance 2026:
This is one of the very last Nuna Parr bears that will be available. From the Stevens estate, consigned to our gallery. Finished in an exquisite apple green kimmirut stone, this particular bear stands as one of Nuna Parr's quintessential masterpieces.
Our gallery would have been more than delighted to nab these two beauties had we known! Good fortune has lead the gallery to these forgotten Masterpieces.
Forgotten that is, until now!
Nuna’s Running Bear is unusual in its energy and pose. This carving is more animated and dynamic than his usual dancing bears who are a bit more reserved and lumbering.
I have never seen Nuna carve a bear with this kind of personality and presence.
At the age of 70, Nuna has been experiencing health issues which have affected his ability to carve with regularity. We can’t predict the future, but I can say with confidence, that ALL of Nuna’s famous bears will double or triple in value when he retires.
This magnificent beast is a prime example of the potential for meaningful investment in Inuit carvings.
This enigmatic bear is spirited. He is delicately balanced, which is difficult to achieve except by the most talented carvers. His lines are crisp and fluid. You feel his massive body moving forward.
The apple green serpentine stone which Nuna chose for this bear, is opulent and vibrant. The stone imparts majesty and a youthful soul to this spectacular sculpture.
This piece is large in height and length.
This is the quintessential Nuna Parr Bear.
For the Inuit art enthusiast, I do not need to explain the notoriety and pride that comes with owning a Nuna Parr bear.
Pure and simple, he is the best Inuit artist in the world for bears!
This is an investment piece extraordinaire. The personality of this Running bear is magical.
If you ever wanted a prize Nuna Parr bear, it is time to act.
