These innocent caribou antler men are small but endearing.
In decades gone by, the Inuit carved very small figures of light weight material like antler because they were more economical to ship by mail (a mail ship) and not easy to break!
My clients love these groups of the Inuit version of "stick men" hanging by their arms, with their "hands" clinging to the overhead bar.
They have very gentle faces which seem to be peaceful and calm.
Lukie has left us with this joyful carving which would brighten the darkest day.
