Holding your sword above your shoulders (Vom Tag) allows you a powerful downward strike on your opponent (German)
VOM TAG is a stunning depiction of two male narwhals engaged in fighting (play?).
Unless they are fighting over the ladies, it is more likely they are looking for food which they will kill and then carry with their tusks.
Or they are simply enjoying each other's company, deep in the Arctic Sea.
Only 15% of female narwhals have tusks so based on probability, our majestic narwhals are male.
Saggiak has placed the mammals on opposite each other in symmetrical positions.
As the viewer, we are granted a close up view of the narwhals in their native environment.
The medium green stone is bejeweled with lacey gray/white veins.
The effect adds complexity to the stone.
The sculptures are more vivid and majestic.
The shining glory are the two tusks.
Such an unusual creature.
We have several clients that have curated a Narwhal collection within their larger Inuit carving collection.
How can you only have one Narwhal?
