This is a spectacular dancing bear by the acclaimed Inuit artist Noo Atsiaq. This masterpiece was acquired directly from his hands in Cape Dorset (arctic Canada). This stunning Inuit carving comes with an Igloo Tag (Certified of Authenticity).

This sculpture measures over 7.2" tall, 7" wide, 3.5" deep

The sculpture is made out of Cape Dorset stone serpentine. The carving is completely perfect, brand new! The sculpture is signed by the artist.

What really strikes me about Noo Atsiaq's work is his dancing and walking bears seem to almost want to float into weightlessness on their own. They are so elegantly and gracefully carved. His contours and edges are smooth and rounded to such a finite detail that it allows to achieve a certain poise, disposition and grace unlike any other dancing bears out there. This is why he is considered one of the most talented artists alive for dancing bears.

Since he is still under 40 years old, the fact that he has already mastered this artful skill makes him poised to become extremely famous and join the ranks as one of the greats in Inuit art.

The dark green color, the green speckles riding against the skin, the movement and the gorgeous shiny polish are all attributes that make this bear beautiful and full of life. It has a very graceful disposition. This is why Noo Atsiaq is so famous for his dancing bears.
