Ralph Porter's Hunter has just realized how large the seal is that he is hunting
DASHER is on the ice waiting for a seal to come to the opening in the ice.
He sees the top of a seal's head as it surfaces.
He raises his club just like he has hundreds of times before.
And then?
His eyes become very large and very wide.
His mouth opens in disbelief!
As more and more of the Seal surfaces, Dasher is shocked.
This seal is bigger than he is!!!!!
Time to call for help!!
Ralph's meticulous detail (the Embroidery on the parka, pants and boots) and his story telling using only a few features of his carving, is fantastic.
