Moe Pootoogook is a gifted Inuit carver of small to medium Dancing, Diving and Walking Bears!

His Signature features for his Bears are sharp corners and angles.

This translates into a more geometric look, ie look at the side profile of Geo's face and muzzle.

Although Geo is 95% realistic in style, this carving approach crosses into the Abstract style of art.

That means, that the Bear's features are less "real" and more a suggestion of what constitutes a muzzle or foot!

Moe has kept the angular look subtle.

This enhances the masculine lines of this Arctic Bear.

Polar bears are one of the most "dangerous" of the Arctic land mammals.

They can challenge a human (on the right occasion) and usually win. 

Not to worry though.
