A Qulliq is an Inuit lamp/stove which burns seal oil for fuel.

The stone is carved into a "vessel" which holds the fuel.

A Qullik is a source of light and heat for Inuit people.

Inuit would use this oil stove inside the igloo, for cooking and for warmth.

Seal oil is extracted from seal blubber (fat).
