Just as the name Henry Evaluardjuk became synonymous with wonderful walking bears, Tim Pee's name is eponymous with the sleek, striding variety.

This beautiful carving was obviously created by an artist who carefully observed the animal subjects and loved them. Despite being carved from a large sized heavy stone, this work carries a lightness of spirit.

His bears are always incredibly graceful and have a positive and peaceful look.

The deep colours of this piece are truly remarkable. The reflection, polish and shine are divine, and the proportions are perfect and very realistic.
