Justly admired for their graceful elegance and acute disposition, the late Qimirpik's works were not solely known for their "robust" content. Although he was famously recognized for his grand-esque dancing walrus, it is the finesse and detail that prevail the sometimes overbearing large mass of stone. It is this delicate balance that made Pits Qimirpik one of the most recognized inuit artists internationally.
