Allan Sheutiapik's animated scene of the bear grabbing the fish portray the rugged realities of mammal habitat of the Canadian Arctic.

This is a gorgeous carving depicting a bear in its natural habitat. This bear is gracefully carved in the act of catching a salmon fish. This is a rare scene amongst Inuit sculptors. Sheutiapik is the only artist who carves this subject as it is hard to carve both a bear and fish together.

I am very attracted to the pale green stone of this bear. It is illuminating and warm and beautifully depicts Northern wildlife.

The size of this carving is large and would make a perfect centrepiece for your collection. It is signed by the artist and comes with igloo tag.
