This is a breathtaking jet black marble walking bear by a very acclaimed and internationally renowned artist - Jackie Takapanie. The beautiful reflection of the deep back stone gives this piece a dramatic intensity not commonly found in most pieces. This is what immediately caught my eye when seeing it for the first time.

It is from the community Iqaluit. What is so stunning about this piece is its exquisite polish and shine alongside its beautiful black finish. The proportions are magnificent and the black stone really sets a beautiful contrast against its surroundings.
