Manasie will be opening our new brick and mortar Gallery this Saturday, October 12, 2019. This is an Exhibition piece carved specifically for the Gallery Exhibition.
Manasie’s raison d’etre and claim to fame are his exquisite bone sculptures. The faces he has carved into the 20 year old petrified whale bone are intriguing and unforgettable. Manasie is the most recognized Inuit artist in the world.
This beautiful Sedna riding the wind is intense in its expression. Sedna is riding atop a determined walrus whose orange eyes are lighting the way for these two travellers. This is one of the most captivating bone pieces I have seen Manasie carve!
Manasie is in the exclusive Premier Master carver circle. He shares this distinction with Paul Maliki and Abraham Ruben.
Don’t pass up this rare opportunity to cherish and possess this Manasie Masterpiece.
I am so honoured to have Manasie carve these pieces exclusively for my clients and my new Gallery.
