Museum quality sculpture!

This is one of world-class carver Manasie Maniapik's finest pieces.

Atuqtuaq is stunning!

The pure black stone illuminates all the detailed features of the Inuk's face and hands.

The stone has a soft and gentle appearance which attracts the viewer to the drum dancer's life force.

You find yourself staring at the Inuk's face, then his clothing and finally his drum set.

Can you feel the peacefulness that surrounds this sculpture?

Even though our dancer is hitting his drum loudly and singing above the drumming, somehow the sculpture seems calm and tranquil.

Manasie is a talented carver whose pieces are distinctive in their beauty and  demeanour.
