MASTERPIECE CARVING

Paul Kavik has carved Elder Duck with skill and refinement in a style reminiscent of Sanikiluaq Master carvers, Jimmy Iqaluq and Joe Kavik.

Paul is one of the most renowned Inuit artists of the day.  He has been carving for almost forty years and has been in countless international art exhibitions.

Kavik is a very dynamic and adventurous carver.  He likes to challenge himself by
carving a variety of animals but his favourite topics are dogs, wolves, fox, loons, ducks and polar bears.  His sculptures are highly respected and sought after.  They have significant investment value.

Elder Duck is a sophisticated piece. There is an innocent simplicity and serenity surrounding this elegant sculpture. This carving is the quintessential Christmas gift.

The carving is signed and comes with the Igloo Tag of authenticity.
