As a curator of Inuit art, I have many goals.
One of them, is to source and supply THE most unique Inukshuks to my loyal clients.
Aren’t we always on a quest to adorn our collections with exclusive and singular pieces?
Esau Kripanik never fails to astound me in his ability to be fresh and still traditional.
He is from the remote Inuit community of Igloolik. These carvers focus on creating sculptures with stunning realism. The stone is rarely polished and has a dry flat finish.
Esau’s Inukshuk is laden with fantastic 3 dimensional designs. The head is a delicately detailed walrus. The torso and legs portray a narwhal, seal and a whale.
On the back of the carving are four more designs.
This is a sculpture that provides 9 carvings in one! Each design is lovingly carved with elegant detail.
This sculpture is masterful.
This sculpture is ideal for business gifts.
Inukshuks are among the oldest and most important objects placed by humans upon the vast Arctic landscape.
