Joamie is a famous Iqaluit carver. He is more known for his muskox sculptures (we have a few of them in stock as well), but he also sometimes likes to experiment and carve different subjects. This time he created a beautiful resting caribou carving.
This beautiful caribou has insert eyes (a trade mark of many Joamie's sculptures), fantastic big antlers (carved out of real caribou antlers). The stone is apple green. Apple green serpentine sculptures are quite rare.
This caribou comes with an Igloo Tag (Certified of Authenticity), it is also sighed by the artist on the bottom in Inuktitut.
The antlers are detachable for safe transportation.
