This muskox was done in a series of three. Our gallery had to wait an entire year to get our hands on these gorgeous pieces made only on rare occasions by Kelly Etidloie.

Here is another extraordinary iconic sculpture by Etidloie. In this piece, the artist has synthesized the salient aspects of the muskox. The composition is not only charged with meaning but is aesthetically pleasing as well. The muskox's face is beautifully framed by the brilliant, electric and softly undulated plane of black serpentine stone.

This muskox is one of the top three pieces to enter our gallery this year. The size is deliberately large and heavy, the texture and lines are masterfully carved and the coloration of the stone is done in a gorgeous copper hue which radiates its surroundings. The subtle movements and detail of this muskox make this a premium world class carving that will augment tremendously in value over the years.

When I saw this piece for the first time, my jaw dropped. Kellypalik decided to try something new. His owls are some of the absolute best in the Inuit art medium. With that, this is the second series of muskox he's ever launched and it is absolutely sensational.

The grooves in the stone, the texture and the tilted head bring a depth I rarely ever see in muskox carvings. The smooth facial expressions contrasting with the rugged torso give this piece an intensity that warrants it to be in a museum.

One day, beautiful carvings like this will be worth so much more.
