This is the quintessential Arctic polar bear.

Nasogaluak has used his mastery to give this carving all the features necessary for the perfect polar bear.

The eyes are small and perfectly positioned. The snout is substantial yet tapered. And of course, he has sculpted the mandatory powerful and muscular neck.

The white alabaster stone is luminescent as it continually emits a soft light. This noble creature is perfect!

Every collection must have a polar bear carving.

The swimming bear sculpture with neck and head held above the water, always tugs at my heart.

It immediately reminds the viewer of the harsh environment these animals must conquer in order to survive.

Inuit art collectors cherish their polar bear carvings.

This one is a must for a well rounded collection.
