This is an outstanding dancing bear by master Inuit artist Qavavau Shaa from Cape Dorset.

This gorgeous dancing bear has beautiful proportions and made from a hunters green serpentine stone. The color alone is quite radiant and displays the dancing bear very well. 

Qavavau Shaa (1993 - )
Qavavau comes from a family of renowned Cape Dorset carvers. He is the youngest artist in his family. He started carving at the age of 12 or 13, he learned by watching his grandfather.
His grandfather is Agangayuk Shaa. Pudlalik Shaa and Alariaq Shaa are sons of Agangayuk Shaa. Qavavau is a son of Pudlalik. 
Qavavau enjoys carving inukshuk sculptures as well as bears.
