Museum quality sculpture!

This is a monumental sculpture by world class carver Jaco Ishulutak. For ten years I have been the director of Inuitsculptures.com and I have never seen Jaco carve with such passion and creativity. This is one of his finest pieces. It demonstrates the extraordinary carving bravado of this 72 year old artist. Jaco’s work is exceptional in its degree of openwork carving and detail. His style is highly energetic and expressive.

Jaco produces gorgeous pieces of art time and time again. My heart skips a beat every time I see one of his sculptures. Within .2 seconds I knew this carving was coming with me. The question I ask myself now is should I keep this piece for my own collection?

The lines and curves of this Inuit are absolutely perfect. As our player drums, we want to dance with him. The movement of this piece makes you want to jump and join in the beat.

Recently we have had the honour to have two other Jaco carvings which share the same magical aura and energy as the Eskimo. Look in New Arrivals for Jaco’s Muskox and also Jaco’s Large Shaman who we call "Andre the Giant". You can easily identify Jaco’s distinct design aesthetic in these two pieces.

Then look at Jaco’s avant garde "17” walking bear" . This sculpture is pure innovation Jaco-style! This is a carving that is neither expected or ordinary. Our knowledgeable clients eagerly await the arrival of Jaco’s pieces so they can add them to their collection.

Jaco’s Eskimo Drum Dancer is a fantastic find. It is a centrepiece for our gallery. It will be the showcase piece of your collection.
